will collaborate closely with the engineering teams to develop, manage and continuously enhance the company’s Microsoft Azure infrastructure across production, staging and development teams to deploy applications securely and efficiently.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, deploy, configure and maintain Azure infrastructure across production, staging and development environments.\n\nContinuously improve the scalability, availability, reliability and performance of the cloud platform.\n\nAdminister key Azure services, including App Service, Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, networking and identity services.\n\nMaintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and software deployment processes.\n\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, deployment and configuration wherever possible.\n\nManage monitoring, logging, alerting and application observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics and related technologies.\n\nDiagnose and resolve issues relating to cloud infrastructure, networking, deployments and system performance.\n\nApply cloud security best practices, including RBAC, managed identities, Key Vault, network controls and secrets management.\n\nConfigure and manage VNets, private endpoints, DNS, firewalls and other Azure networking components.\n\nIdentify opportunities to optimise cloud expenditure, resource utilisation and overall platform performance.\n\nContribute to incident response activities, including root-cause analysis and the implementation of preventative improvements.\n\nEnsure the Azure environment remains current by adopting appropriate platform enhancements, security updates and cloud best practices.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\nA minimum of 3 years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience within cloud engineering, infrastructure, systems engineering or DevOps.\n\nProven experience in deploying, configuring and supporting Azure resources.\n\nStrong working knowledge of core Azure services, including App Service, Virtual Machines, networking, storage and identity.\n\nExperience working with CI/CD pipelines, using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar technologies.\n\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code, using ARM Templates, Bicep or Terraform.\n\nSolid knowledge of networking concepts, including VNets, subnets, private endpoints, DNS, firewalls and routing.\n\nPractical experience with monitoring, logging, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.\n\nGood understanding of cloud security principles, including access control, secrets management and secure networking.\n\nExperience supporting production environments and investigating technical incidents.\n\nA proactive, hands-on and solution-focused approach to technical challenges.\n\nStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with software engineering
