client, an established pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Malta, is seeking a Plant Engineer to join its team.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing engineering projects, ensuring the proper maintenance and performance of equipment, and maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage and support engineering projects, including facility improvements and production/process upgrades.\n\nCoordinate with suppliers, source equipment and materials, and prepare detailed project implementation plans.\n\nEnsure the proper upkeep of plant equipment through regular inspections and operational reviews.\n\nAssist in resolving equipment breakdowns, emergency repairs and other technical issues.\n\nSource spare parts and coordinate maintenance activities to minimise operational disruptions.\n\nPrepare and review equipment qualification documentation, including User Requirement Specifications (URS), Design Qualification (DQ), Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ).\n\nEnsure that facilities, utilities and equipment comply with established qualification schedules.\n\nMaintain equipment review programmes in accordance with GMP requirements.\n\nRequirements\nDegree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.\n\nMinimum of 2 years' experience working within an engineering department.\n\nPrevious experience in a GMP-regulated environment would be considered an advantage but is not essential.\n\nStrong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.\n\nSelf-motivated, results-oriented and capable of taking initiative.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively
