client, an established company operating within the apertures manufacturing and installation industry in Malta, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage customer projects from initial handover through to successful completion.\nThe successful candidate will act as a key link between customers, sites and the company's internal departments, ensuring that projects involving the manufacture and installation of apertures are properly planned, coordinated and delivered according to agreed specifications and timelines.\nThis is a hands-on and site-oriented role requiring strong organisation, technical understanding and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.\nKey Responsibilities\nTake ownership of assigned projects from internal handover through to installation and final completion.\n\nReview project requirements, specifications, measurements, drawings and agreed customer requirements before progressing works.\n\nDevelop and maintain project schedules, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are established and monitored.\n\nCoordinate closely with Production, Procurement, Stores, Installation and other internal teams to ensure projects progress according to plan.\n\nPlan and coordinate installation schedules based on production readiness, site availability and customer requirements.\n\nEnsure installation teams have the necessary information, materials and instructions required to carry out works efficiently.\n\nLiaise regularly with customers, contractors, architects, designers and other relevant stakeholders.\n\nCarry out site visits as required to monitor progress, verify requirements and address project-related matters.\n\nMonitor project progress and proactively identify potential delays, discrepancies or issues.\n\nResolve day-to-day project and site challenges, escalating significant operational or commercial matters where necessary.\n\nEnsure changes to project scope, specifications or requirements are properly documented and communicated internally.\n\nCoordinate snagging and follow-up works, ensuring outstanding items are addressed efficiently.\n\nMaintain accurate project documentation, correspondence, records and status updates.\n\nEnsure projects are delivered according to the required quality standards and agreed specifications.\n\nWork closely with the Operations Manager to highlight resource constraints, recurring operational issues and risks affecting project delivery.\n\nProvide regular updates regarding project progress, upcoming installations, delays and outstanding matters.\n\nEnsure appropriate handover and closure procedures are followed once projects are completed.\n\nManage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organisation and customer communication.\n\nRequirements\nPrevious experience in Project Management, Site Management, Project Coordination or a similar role involving physical products, construction or installations.\n\nExperience within the apertures industry, including aluminium, PVC or wood apertures, would be considered a strong advantage.\n\nAlternatively, experience within construction, fit-outs, joinery, glazing, building materials or another related project-based environment will be considered.\n\nGood technical understanding and the ability to interpret drawings, measurements and specifications.\n\nPrevious experience coordinating installation teams, contractors or site-based works.\n\nStrong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage several active projects simultaneously.\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly when site or project issues arise.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when dealing with customers, tradespeople and different internal departments.\n\nAbility to manage deadlines and follow up persistently to ensure agreed actions are completed.\n\nGood attention to detail and accurate record keeping.\n\nComfortable working both in the office and regularly visiting project sites.\n\nGood computer literacy and confidence using standard office and project-related systems.\n\nA valid driving licence.\n\nFluency in both Maltese and English is required.\n\nWorking Hours & Expectations\nThis is a managerial, project-driven position and is not structured as a conventional Monday-to-Friday, 40-hour working week.\nThe Project Manager will be expected to work the hours necessary to effectively manage projects and ensure that installations and site activities progress according to schedule.\nThe position will include Saturday work when required, particularly where installations, site works, customer requirements or project deadlines require the Project Manager's involvement.\nAs the role involves responsibility for projects and site-based activities, candidates must be comfortable with a degree of flexibility in their working hours and understand that certain situations may require availability outside standard office hours.\nThe additional responsibility and flexibility expected from the position will be reflected in the overall remuneration package.\nThe Ideal Candidate\nThe ideal candidate will take full ownership of their projects rather than simply coordinating individual tasks.\nThey will be comfortable moving between the office and project sites, dealing with customers, contractors, installation teams and internal departments, and taking responsibility for ensuring issues are resolved and projects continue moving forward.\nThe
