The role requires hands-on experience analyzing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting business applications, including engagement in production environments to identify root causes and resolve issues in a timely manner while coordinating with vendors, partners, and internal teams.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nComplete project assignments involving research, analysis, design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of systems.\nDeliver assignments on schedule while meeting operational, functional, and performance requirements.\nEngage with business users to gather, validate, and document business requirements through formal and informal sessions.\nTranslate business requirements into functional requirements, technical specifications, test plans, and training materials.\nFormulate and define system scope and objectives, including procedures to solve complex business and technical problems while considering capacity and system limitations.\nAsk probing questions to fully understand business needs, scope, complexity, and effort sizing.\nOrganize and facilitate review sessions with business sponsors, stakeholders, IT development teams, vendors, and partners.\nParticipate in project estimates, cost-benefit analyses, work planning, progress tracking, and adjustment of delivery approaches to maintain commitments.\nProduce thorough design, development, and technical documentation in alignment with SDLC methodology.\nDevelop detailed specifications to support application development and system enhancements.\nBuild and support data-driven business applications in a hands-on capacity.\nExecute test cases and document defects, bugs, and system issues in the appropriate defect tracking tools.\nParticipate in system integration testing and support business users during UAT by documenting issues, resolutions, and follow-up actions.\nGather production defects from business users, analyze root causes, and collaborate with product vendors on production support and development activities.\nMaintain banking applications in production and support all tasks required to resolve production issues in a timely manner.\nSupport the change management process by documenting change requests, evaluating business criticality, and assessing impact to project commitments.\nEnsure product performance and quality conform to company standards, policies, specifications, and customer requirements through structured testing programs, procedures, controls, and quality practices.\nProvide best-practice consulting and subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders and technology teams.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required.\nMinimum of 2 years of project implementation or project management experience.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, preferably within Private Banking.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience evaluating, implementing, supporting, debugging, and troubleshooting third-party software packages.\nExperience with implementation, support, outsourcing, or integration of core banking systems that interface with satellite systems such as portfolio management, AML, document imaging, client reporting, business intelligence, and data warehouse platforms.\nStrong understanding of SDLC practices and application software support processes.\nDemonstrated application development and support skills, including database modeling and administration, web development, systems testing, and troubleshooting.\nUnderstanding of complex object serialization and deserialization.\nExperience writing unit and system tests.\nDemonstrated success delivering multiple critical projects within an investment banking or securities industry environment.\nFluency in English required, fluency in Portuguese is desirable.\n\nTechnical Skills and Experience\nExperience with SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).\nApplication troubleshooting and production support experience across Windows Server, WebSphere Application Server, and WebSphere MQ.\nProduction support experience with batch scheduling tools, services, and application monitoring solutions.\nKnowledge of web application architecture, including HTTP servers, WebSphere Application Server, SQL database servers, ODBC, and TCP/IP.\nProficiency with modeling and process mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio, Enterprise Architect, or similar tools.\nExperience maintaining data warehouse environments.\nCore Competencies\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to work independently or with limited supervision in high-pressure production environments.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills in English.\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to participate effectively in
