The candidate will be responsible for leading technical development activities, providing technical guidance to the team and ensuring high-quality delivery in an AMS environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead SAP ABAP backend development, enhancement and support activities.\nTake technical ownership of assigned deliverables and ensure timely completion.\nWork on S/4HANA implementation, enhancements and integration projects.\nDesign and develop solutions using ABAP, CDS Views, OData, IDocs, Interfaces and REST APIs.\nAnalyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.\nLead technical discussions with functional teams, business stakeholders and other technical teams.\nReview technical designs, development approaches and code quality.\nPerform code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards.\nHandle AMS incidents, service requests, change requests and production issues.\nDrive root-cause analysis and resolution of critical production issues.\nWork on performance optimization, debugging and technical issue resolution.\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams for SAP and non-SAP integrations.\nProvide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level ABAP developers.\nSupport technical estimation, effort planning and task allocation within the team.\nIdentify technical risks, dependencies and issues and drive them to closure.\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications and knowledge articles.\nEnsure solutions follow S/4HANA and modern ABAP development best practices.\nMandatory Technical Skills\n9+ years of SAP ABAP experience\nStrong hands-on experience in S/4HANA implementation\nExcellent experience in:\nABAP Development\nCDS Views\nOData Services\nIDocs\nSAP Interfaces\nREST APIs\nStrong experience in SAP backend development and integration\nGood experience in AMS / Application Maintenance & Support projects\nStrong debugging and performance optimization skills\nExperience handling production-critical issues\nLead-Level Expectations\nAct as the technical point of contact for ABAP backend development.\nLead and mentor the ABAP development team.\nOwn technical delivery and ensure quality and timelines.\nConduct technical discussions, design reviews and code reviews.\nProvide solutions for complex technical
