ITC is located in Fairfax, VA and offers an outstanding compensation and benefits plan and a challenging and rewarding professional work environment.\nWe are seeking an experienced ALS Lab Manager to support ITC Federal’s work for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) under the anticipated MEGA 6 automated litigation support (ALS) program. This is a fully remote position supporting DOJ’s complex litigation mission.\nImportant: This opening is being established in connection with the MEGA 6 contract vehicle award itself. ITC Federal must still be awarded individual task orders under the vehicle before employees can be onboarded. Accordingly, this position is full-time and contingent upon both contract award and the award of the applicable task order.\nPOSITION OVERVIEW:\nServes as the lead manager responsible for delivery of lab data processing services.\nPROGRAM CONTEXT:\nThis position supports the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) under the anticipated MEGA 6 procurement. MEGA 6 is expected to continue DOJ’s multiple-award contract vehicle for automated litigation support (ALS) services, following the structure of the MEGA 5 contract. These contracts are designed to provide DOJ offices, boards, divisions, and other federal agencies with information technology, professional services, and litigation support tools to manage complex legal proceedings efficiently.\nResponsibilities\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nPrimarily ensures timely and accurate completion of tasks.\nPerforms analysis, development and implementation of processing approaches for electronic files and related services pursuant to applicable ESI specifications.\nConsults with attorneys and support staff on best practices for conforming to ESI specifications and, as required, participates in teleconferences with co-counsel, client agencies, and opposing counsel upon attorney request.\nResponsible for ensuring that incoming productions are made pursuant to the applicable ESI specifications and when deficiencies are found, provides case attorney with detailed notice of deficiencies.\nResponsible for keeping the COR informed on activities in the Lab, e.g. deadlines, technical challenges, and availability of resources to complete work.\nResponsible for webhosting support for unsupported cases managed by the lab.\nManages a team of eDiscovery professionals situated in a client-site eDiscovery laboratory, including: scheduling, requirements assessments, assigning work and ensuring deadlines are met, creating progress reports, and Quality Control (QC) of deliverables.\nAdvises Department of Justice attorneys, paralegals, and case managers on all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM); especially: Data Collection, Processing, Hosting, Review, Analytics, and Production.\nQualifications\nREQUIRED:\nAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance prior to start (candidates are not required to be cleared at the time of application).\nAuthorized to work in the United States.\nAbility to work effectively in a fully remote environment.\nAt least five years of experience at the management/supervisory level.\nRequires thorough knowledge of the litigation discovery process, and the EDRM workflow.\nWorking knowledge and certifications of document review software such as iConect, Relativity, Venio or similar tools.\nUndergraduate degree required, preferably in computer science or related field.\nOnly the Contracting Officer can approve a waiver of the degree requirement.\nAt least eight years of experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis and review.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience with litigation support tools such as LAW, IPRO, Concordance, MS Office Suite, and LiveNote highly valued.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThis is a fully remote position;
