ITC is located in Fairfax, VA and offers an outstanding compensation and benefits plan and a challenging and rewarding professional work environment.\nWe are seeking an experienced Auditor to support ITC Federal’s work for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) under the anticipated MEGA 6 automated litigation support (ALS) program. This is a fully remote position supporting DOJ’s complex litigation mission.\nImportant: This opening is being established in connection with the MEGA 6 contract vehicle award itself. ITC Federal must still be awarded individual task orders under the vehicle before employees can be onboarded. Accordingly, this position is full-time and contingent upon both contract award and the award of the applicable task order.\nPOSITION OVERVIEW:\nBased on discussions with the Trial Staff and COR, plans, implements and manages small and moderately sized audit investigations as required in support of litigation.\nPROGRAM CONTEXT:\nThis position supports the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) under the anticipated MEGA 6 procurement. MEGA 6 is expected to continue DOJ’s multiple-award contract vehicle for automated litigation support (ALS) services, following the structure of the MEGA 5 contract. These contracts are designed to provide DOJ offices, boards, divisions, and other federal agencies with information technology, professional services, and litigation support tools to manage complex legal proceedings efficiently.\nResponsibilities\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nIn these situations, may work with little or no supervision from a Senior Auditor or other, more senior audit staff.\nAs part of audit teams conducting large and complex audit investigations, may work under the direction of a Senior Auditor, and perform portions of the audit investigation under the Senior Auditor's supervision and guidance.\nPerforms analysis of corporate financial and operating statements, records and other information in order to arrive at results in accordance with the stated objectives of the audit investigation; prepares interim and final oral and written reports to the Trial Staff and COR on the progress, status, and results of audit investigations; makes recommendations to Trial Staff and to the COR based on audit results.\nProvides direction, supervision and guidance to more junior Financial Analysts working on the same audit investigations.\nQualifications\nREQUIRED:\nAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance prior to start (candidates are not required to be cleared at the time of application).\nAuthorized to work in the United States.\nAbility to work effectively in a fully remote environment.\nMust be Certified Public Accountant.\nMBA or equivalent in accounting or directly related field.\nThorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and generally accepted auditing standards.\nMinimum of three years’ experience as an auditor.\nMinimum two years specialized experience in the specific subject matter area involved - for example, Medicare billing and claims systems, or DoD inventory systems.\nWorking knowledge of appropriate accounting and financial analysis ADP systems and applications.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience in litigation environment, experience working with automated litigation support helpful.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThis is a fully remote position;
