The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of industry experience in quantitative analysis, advanced SQL, Python, and statistical modeling, with a proven ability to deliver meaningful insights, communicate findings to diverse audiences, and independently drive analytical initiatives.\nLocation: Hybrid - Menlo Park, CA (onsite 3 days per week)\nContract Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension\nPay Rate: Up to $60per hour, depending on experience.\nWe provide comprehensive medical benefits, a 401(k) plan, paid holidays, and more.\nPlease note that we are only considering direct W2 candidates at this time, as we are unable to offer sponsorship.\nResponsibilities\n Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, correlations, root causes of metric changes, and opportunities for business improvement using large-scale datasets.\n Define business objectives and success metrics in partnership with stakeholders, establishing measurable objectives and key results (OKRs) and tracking progress against short- and long-term goals.\nDevelop and optimize advanced SQL queries and analytical workflows to extract, transform, analyze, and interpret complex datasets, enabling accurate and efficient data-driven decision-making.\nBuild predictive and forecasting models using statistical and machine learning techniques, including regression, clustering, and classification, and evaluate model performance to generate actionable recommendations.\nDesign high-performance dashboards and visualizations that communicate key metrics, provide clear narratives, and enable stakeholders to explore data and monitor business performance.\nTranslate analytical findings into compelling data stories by presenting insights, prioritized recommendations, and estimated business impact to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nDevelop research plans and conduct experiments by formulating hypotheses, selecting appropriate analytical methods, and evaluating results to answer business questions and identify new opportunities.\nInternal Responsibilities\nAttend regular internal practice community meetings.\nCollaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.\nComplete client case studies and learning materials, including blogs and media content.\nBuild materials that contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.\nAttend internal itD networking events, both in person and virtually.\nWork with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.\nRequired Qualifications and Skills\n10+ years of industry experience solving analytical problems using quantitative methods and data-driven approaches.\nAdvanced SQL proficiency, including complex querying, joins, aggregations, filtering, grouping, and analytical functions.\nPython proficiency for data analysis, scripting, and analytical problem-solving.\nDemonstrated experience conducting exploratory data analysis, defining and monitoring key metrics, investigating metric changes, and identifying business opportunities.\nStrong understanding of statistical analysis, quantitative methods, and data interpretation.\nExperience collaborating with stakeholders to define business objectives, OKRs, and measurable success metrics.\nAbility to independently analyze complex datasets and develop actionable, evidence-based recommendations.\nStrong communication skills, including the ability to explain analytical approaches and present complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.\nPreferred Qualifications and Skills\nExperience designing interactive dashboards, data visualizations, and high-performance analytical reports.\nExperience developing predictive and forecasting models using regression, clustering, classification, or other statistical techniques.\nExperience designing research plans, formulating hypotheses, and conducting experiments to evaluate business questions.\nDemonstrated ability to develop compelling data narratives that translate analytical findings into prioritized business actions.\nExperience working with large-scale data environments and supporting data-driven decisions in complex organizations.\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.\nCompany Description\nAbout itD: We are part of a new generation of consulting and software development company that blends diversity, innovation, and integrity with real business results.
