This is an individual contributor role with hands-on operational and logistical responsibilities.\nContract Duration: Approximately 6 months, with potential for extension\nPay Rate: Up to $28.08 per hour, depending on experience.\nWe provide comprehensive medical benefits, a 401k plan, paid holidays, and more.\nPlease note that we are only considering direct W2 candidates at this time, as we are unable to offer sponsorship.\nResponsibilities\nOwn onboarding and offboarding activities, including building access, team orientation, walkthroughs, equipment coordination, and short-notice departures.\n\nExecute and streamline day-to-day operational processes, balancing recurring responsibilities with unpredictable and time-sensitive requests.\n\nCoordinate lab, equipment, and facility logistics, including gear distribution, workspace allocation, physical setup, and related support.\n\nMaintain information-sharing platforms, documentation, trackers, and repositories to ensure resources remain current, organized, and accessible.\n\nMonitor operational activities, identify issues early, resolve problems when possible, and escalate appropriately when additional support is required.\n\nCoordinate team events and activities, including logistics, scheduling, communications, and hands-on physical setup.\n\nDevelop lightweight tools, processes, and documentation to address organizational needs and provide basic technical and operational support.\n\nCollaborate with stakeholders across the research organization, communicating effectively with employees and leaders across a wide range of seniority levels.\n\nInternal Responsibilities\nAttend regular internal practice community meetings.\n\nCollaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.\n\nComplete client case studies and learning material, including blogs and media material.\n\nBuild material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.\n\nAttend internal itD networking events, both in person and virtually.\n\nWork with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.\n\nRequired Qualifications and Skills\n5+ years of professional operations experience or equivalent relevant experience.\n\nStrong written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally across a wide range of organizational levels.\n\nDemonstrated experience with hands-on operational execution, including logistics, onboarding/offboarding, physical setup, equipment coordination, or similar responsibilities.\n\nStrong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\n\nDemonstrated cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder coordination experience.\n\nProven ability to work independently in ambiguous environments and identify, resolve, or escalate operational issues.\n\nWillingness and ability to perform hands-on, physical, and repetitive operational tasks as required.\n\nExperience working in a fast-paced research, hardware, or product-development environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications and Skills\nPrevious experience as a company employee or contractor.\n\nExperience supporting AR/VR, audio research, hardware, or other technical research environments.\n\nExperience building lightweight tools, trackers, process documentation, or information repositories to improve operational workflows.\n\nExperience with lab operations, space planning, equipment logistics, or workplace operations.\n\nExperience coordinating team events and physical logistics in a technical or research organization.\n\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, or a related field; relevant professional experience may also be considered.\n\nCompany Description\nAbout itD: We are part of a new generation of consulting and software development company that blends diversity, innovation, and integrity with real business results.
