You will drive programs from early design through production, working with electrical engineers and overseas contract manufacturers to hit schedule, quality, and yield targets. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in PCB design and fabrication, wearables or compact consumer electronics, and manufacturing build management, and a track record of delivering hardware programs from concept through production.\nLocation: Remote, US (West Coast highly preferred).\nDuration: 12-month\nWe provide comprehensive medical benefits, a 401k plan, paid holidays, and more.\nPlease note that we are only considering direct W2 candidates at this time, as we are unable to offer sponsorship.\nResponsibilities\nOwn design releases for flexible circuits and multi-layer boards (MLBs) from early design through production.\nCollaborate with electrical engineers and cross-functional teams to develop flexible and rigid circuit boards for compact wearable products.\nManage PCB fabrication end to end, from schematics and layouts through vendor approval for part fabrication.\nManage Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Final Assembly, Test, and Pack (FATP) builds end to end, optimizing for schedule, quality, and yield.\nEngage directly with APAC contract manufacturers, ensuring supplier readiness and managing flex vendor relationships.\nTrack schedules, gather feedback, and highlight risks throughout the development process.\nCoordinate with APAC partners outside standard hours as needed to keep builds on schedule.\nInternal Responsibilities\nAttend regular internal practice community meetings.\nCollaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.\nComplete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).\nBuild out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.\nAttend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).\nWork with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.\nRequired Qualifications and Skills\n5+ years of experience in electrical design, PCB development, or related hardware engineering roles\nDirect ownership of design releases for flexible circuits and multi-layer boards, from early design through production\nExperience managing SMT and FATP builds end to end, including schedule, quality, and yield optimization\nHands-on management of APAC contract manufacturers, including flex vendor engagement and supplier readiness\nAbility to work outside standard hours to collaborate with APAC partners\nPreferred Qualifications and Skills\nExperience with wearables or consumer electronics, especially AR wearable device development\nFamiliarity with integrating small electrical components into compact form factors\nKnowledge of advanced PCB fabrication techniques and materials\nEducation\nDegree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred, but not required.
