This role will drive cross-functional program execution, coordinate engineering teams and stakeholders, and ensure successful product development and delivery across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.\nThe ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of technical program management experience, strong subsystem TPM and audio experience, and a proven track record of delivering hardware development programs in complex, cross-functional engineering environments.\nLocation: Hybrid, 3 days onsite in Redmond, WA (preferred); open to US remote candidates.\nContract Duration: 12 months\n We provide comprehensive medical benefits, a 401(k) plan, paid holidays, and more.\nPlease note that we are only considering direct W2 candidates at this time, as we are unable to offer sponsorship.\nResponsibilities\nLead and manage New Product Introduction (NPI) programs for wearable hardware, smart glasses, and audio subsystem development from planning through execution and delivery.\nCoordinate multiple technical programs simultaneously, aligning engineering teams, Designated Responsible Individuals (DRIs), and cross-functional stakeholders on priorities, milestones, and deliverables.\nDevelop and maintain program plans, schedules, resource estimates, budgets, status reports, and key performance indicators to ensure timely execution.\nDrive subsystem development activities across hardware, mechanical, electrical, optical, and audio engineering teams, resolving dependencies and technical issues.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate program risks, issues, and dependencies while developing contingency plans to maintain delivery commitments.\nCommunicate program status, risks, milestones, and escalations clearly to engineering leadership, business partners, and stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.\nManage program scope, requirements, implementation plans, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring alignment with product development goals and quality standards.\nInternal Responsibilities\nAttend regular internal practice community meetings.\nCollaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.\nComplete client case studies and learning materials, including blogs and media content.\nBuild materials that contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.\nAttend internal itD networking events, both in person and virtually.\nWork with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.\nRequired Qualifications and Skills\n5+ years of experience in technical program management, program delivery, or related engineering program roles.\nDemonstrated experience managing technical programs at the subsystem level (Subsystem TPM experience required).\nExperience supporting audio subsystem development or audio-related hardware programs.\nProven experience managing New Product Introduction (NPI) programs or complex hardware product development initiatives.\nStrong program management skills, including project estimation, scheduling, milestone tracking, risk management, and status reporting.\nExperience coordinating cross-functional engineering teams, technical stakeholders, and multiple concurrent programs.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and communicate program status effectively.\nExperience delivering technology or business application solutions in large-scale, multi-platform environments.\nWorking knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technology implementation planning.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant technical field.\nPreferred Qualifications and Skills\nPrevious experience at Meta or other large technology companies.\nExperience managing consumer electronics, wearable hardware, smart glasses, or other complex hardware NPI programs.\nPMP or PMI certification.\nExperience coordinating engineering development with suppliers, manufacturing partners, or ODM/JDM partners.\nExperience managing programs involving mechanical, electrical, optical, and audio subsystems.\nMBA or another relevant advanced degree.\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, required.\nMBA or another relevant advanced degree preferred.\nPMP or PMI certification preferred.\nCompany Description\nAbout itD: We are part of a new generation of consulting and software development company that blends diversity, innovation, and integrity with real business results.
