As a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution committed to pioneering digital transformation. You will play a crucial role in accelerating the migration of Markets applications from traditional data centres to private cloud environments, shaping the future of resilient, scalable banking solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Accelerate the migration of applications to the private cloud using standardized platforms, automation, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement resilient, high-performance solutions that enhance reliability and operational efficiency.
• Automate manual, repetitive tasks across provisioning, deployment, and support to streamline processes and increase automation coverage.
• Develop proactive capacity planning models to ensure scalability and performance, addressing future demands ahead of time.
• Drive improvements by analyzing operational metrics, refining SLIs/SLOs, and reducing incident recurrence through root cause analysis.
• Promote continuous delivery standards to minimize release-related incidents and support agile deployment pipelines.
• Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance troubleshooting, scripting, monitoring, and documentation practices.
• Lead and support training initiatives to ensure team skills remain aligned with evolving cloud and automation technologies.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud migration projects.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, Rundeck.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes migration, monitoring, and observability tools like OTEL, Elastic, Grafana, and Kibana.
• Knowledge of networking, proxies, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and middleware technologies including Kafka, Solace, IBM MQ, and NGINX.
• Practical scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation workflows.
• Broad experience across enterprise infrastructure, cloud, storage, security, and operating systems (Linux RHEL, Windows, Azure, etc.).

It is a strong plus if you also have:

• Certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps methodologies.
• Experience applying AI tools like GitHub Copilot to operational workflows.

Languages required for the role:

• Fluent English (spoken and written).
