This role is essential in shaping innovative infrastructure strategies, ensuring operational excellence, and enabling digital transformation at scale.\nYour main responsibilities:\nLead the end-to-end migration lifecycle, from discovery and planning to testing, cutover, and legacy decommissioning.\nDevelop and maintain an integrated transition roadmap, coordinating activities across application, infrastructure, and security teams.\nManage dependencies, risks, and project decisions, ensuring minimal disruption to critical business services.\nOversee testing procedures including functional, performance, and resilience testing, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.\nCoordinate operational handover, including support models, documentation, and incident procedures.\nCommunicate progress and challenges effectively through status reports and steering-committee presentations.\nEnsure the stability, resilience, and security of new and migrated systems, aligning with high data quality standards.\nSupport change-management activities, fostering collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.\nYou're ideal for this role if you have:\nOver 5 years of experience directing complex technology transformation and migration projects.\nProven expertise in migrating workloads from VMware vSphere to Red Hat OpenShift.\nStrong understanding of virtualization (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) and container platforms (OpenShift).\nExceptional skills in developing transition plans, dependency management, and risk mitigation.\nExperience using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow).\nExcellent communication skills in English (fluent).\nIt is a strong plus if you have:\nKnowledge of German language (spoken).\nAdditional certifications or experience in cloud architecture or project management frameworks.\nLanguage required for the role:\nEnglish: Fluent command.\nEligibility to work in Europe:\nOnly candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role.\nInterested?
