As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a leader in the financial services industry, focused on building advanced backend systems for a transactional and investment ecosystem. You will contribute to the development of reliable, scalable solutions that drive digital transformation within the banking environment, fostering innovation and supporting career growth.
Your main responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services in Java (21+) using Spring Boot 3 to support financial transactions.
- Design solutions aligned with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to ensure modularity and maintainability.
- Work with relational data models and PostgreSQL to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Build reliable, testable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Collaborate within agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.
- Implement messaging and event-driven architectures utilizing Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Enhance system observability and performance using tools like ELK, Dynatrace, and Redis.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Java Developer, with a focus on backend systems.
- Strong knowledge of Java 21+, Spring Boot 3, Hibernate.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Good engineering practices including testing, clean code, and system maintainability.
- Fluent Polish language skills; good command of English.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience in the financial or transactional systems industry.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Language required for the role: Polish (good command); English (communicative).
