As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the financial industry. Your mission will be to develop and migrate the data layer for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes, centralizing data from multiple sources, optimizing ETL workflows, and designing scalable data architectures to support advanced analytics and decision-making. Your main responsibilities:
Design and implement ETL processes, data parsing, and architecture that support AML data centralization and migration.
Develop robust data pipelines using Python, SQL (Teradata), and PySpark within Databricks environments.
Integrate diverse data sources via API and batch processes, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy.
Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions and architecture.
Optimize existing ETL workflows and facilitate migration to new analytical environments.
Conduct detailed data analysis and develop business analysis reports to support compliance efforts.
Document and communicate technical solutions clearly to multi-disciplinary teams.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
Over 5 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
Advanced knowledge of Python, SQL, and Databricks (PySpark).
Experience designing and implementing ETL processes.
Strong analytical skills and ability to create comprehensive business analyses.
Proven ability to develop and document data architecture solutions.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
It is a strong plus if you have:
