The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in research-focused project management and a proven track record of delivering complex projects in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments.\nLocation: Onsite - Redmond, WA\nDuration: 12 Months\nPay Rate: $40 - $45 per hour, depending on experience\nWe provide comprehensive medical benefits, a 401k plan, paid holidays, and more.\nPlease note that we are only considering direct W2 candidates at this time, as we are unable to offer sponsorship.\nResponsibilities\nDrive planning and execution of spatial audio research projects aligned with program delivery goals\nMonitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery\nTrack milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation across research and engineering teams\nPrepare and deliver regular status reports, including progress updates, risks, and dependencies\nMaintain detailed project documentation, including task tracking, workflows, and completion records\nCoordinate procurement activities for research equipment and vendor services\nFacilitate cross-functional collaboration with researchers, engineers, and external partners\nSupport sprint-based planning, tracking, and reporting across program workstreams\nContribute hands-on operational support to ensure program success\nInternal Responsibilities\nAttend regular internal practice community meetings\nCollaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership\nComplete client case studies and learning materials (blogs, media material)\nContribute to Digital Transformation practice development initiatives\nParticipate in internal networking events (virtual and in-person)\nPartner with leadership on career development opportunities\nRequired Qualifications and Skills\n3-5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within research or product development environments\nProven experience managing sprint-based projects, including planning, tracking, and reporting\nStrong documentation and reporting skills, including maintaining task boards and communicating risks and progress\nExperience coordinating cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nStrong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Acoustics, Physics, or a related field\nPreferred Qualifications and Skills\nExperience working in research environments or supporting R&D programs\nFamiliarity with spatial audio, binaural audio, or audio signal processing\nExperience with programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, C++, or Max/MSP\nExperience with user research or UX studies\nBackground in event coordination, demo support, or visual design\nExposure to audio production or audio technology domains\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required\nCompany Description\nAbout itD: We are part of a new generation of consulting and software development company that blends diversity, innovation, and integrity with real business results.
