This role will focus on enhancing portfolio, program, and Agile management capabilities while helping project management teams adopt new tools, processes, and best practices.\nThe ideal candidate brings strong hands-on IT project management experience, advanced project scheduling skills, and a solid understanding of PPM processes. Success in this position requires someone who can work across technical and business teams, support system enhancements, and drive adoption through training, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nWhat You'll Do\nDrive PPM adoption: Help project managers effectively use enterprise project planning and scheduling capabilities through demonstrations, office hours, and individualized support.\n\nSupport process improvements: Assist with implementing and rolling out project change request workflows and other PPM process enhancements.\n\nExpand platform capabilities: Apply knowledge of portfolio, program, and Agile management practices to help define and implement additional functionality within the enterprise PPM platform.\n\nPartner with technical teams: Collaborate with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.\n\nLead pilot programs and rollouts: Support initial implementations of new PPM capabilities and help expand successful processes across the organization.\n\nDevelop training resources: Create and deliver role-specific training, user guides, knowledge base articles, and practical tips to support ongoing system adoption.\n\nSupport governance activities: Participate in governance processes to evaluate, prioritize, and implement platform enhancements.\n\nCollaborate across teams: Work closely with project managers, decentralized PMOs, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure consistent adoption of PPM practices.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n7+ years of IT project management experience serving directly in a Project Manager role, with responsibility for managing projects from initiation through delivery.\n\n3+ years of experience in program management, portfolio management, or Agile project management.\n\nStrong proficiency in project planning and scheduling using Microsoft Project or a comparable enterprise PPM platform.\n\nExperience supporting software testing, developing training materials, and creating user documentation.\n\nUnderstanding of project portfolio management processes, workflows, governance, and reporting.\n\nExperience collaborating with technical teams throughout the SDLC.\n\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office applications.\n\nStrong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nAbility to work independently while partnering with multiple teams to drive process improvements and system adoption.\n\nNice to Have\nPMP, PgMP, PfMP, Scrum, or SAFe certification.\n\nExperience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).\n\nExperience implementing or enhancing enterprise PPM platforms.\n\nExperience supporting
