The focus of the role is managing lifecycle initiatives such as upgrades, end-of-life replacements and improvements of the existing infrastructure and Big Data technology stack.\nYou will work closely with Engineering, Product and business stakeholders to ensure programmes are delivered efficiently and create business value.\nOur Data Platform supports a large ecosystem of open source and third-party technologies that power the company’s Big Data platform, Data Warehouse and middleware services. The environment includes approximately 2000 servers across the platform.\nThis role is based in Prague, Czechia. We currently operate on a hybrid model, meeting in our office three days a week.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead complex infrastructure and platform programmes with multiple technical and business dependencies\nCreate and manage programme plans, timelines and delivery milestones\nCoordinate engineering, product and business stakeholders\nIdentify risks, dependencies and delivery challenges and manage escalations when needed\nUnderstand technical architecture to anticipate delivery impacts and dependencies\nSupport decision making by balancing technical trade-offs and delivery priorities\nTrack programme progress, report status and manage budget forecasts\nBuild strong relationships with stakeholders and hold teams accountable for delivery\nSkills & Experience\nHave a proven record of accomplishment in delivering technology programmes\nHave experience of building credible relationships and influencing senior management\nStrong Project, Stakeholder & Programme management skills\nGood reporting skills for programs and financial forecasting\nAdept communication & influencing skills and adoptability to changes\nAdditional information\nTesco is a diverse and exciting employer, dedicated to being #aplacetogeton, providing career-defining opportunities to all of our colleagues.
