positions.\n\nAdvertise vacancies, shortlist candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate selection.\n\nConduct reference and background checks where appropriate.\n\nEnsure new employees receive proper induction and onboarding.\n\nEmployee Relations\n\nMaintain positive employee relations and address workplace concerns professionally.\n\nHandle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution in accordance with company policies and applicable employment requirements.\n\nAdvise managers and employees on HR policies and employment matters.\n\nPromote a professional, respectful, and productive working environment.\n\nPerformance Management\n\nCoordinate the company's performance appraisal and review process.\n\nSupport managers in setting employee objectives and KPIs.\n\nMonitor performance improvement plans where required.\n\nIdentify performance and capability gaps and recommend appropriate interventions.\n\nTraining & Development\n\nIdentify employee training and development needs.\n\nPrepare and monitor the annual training plan and budget.\n\nCoordinate internal and external training programs.\n\nSupport career development and succession planning.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\n\nCoordinate payroll inputs and ensure employee information is accurate and up to date.\n\nAdminister employee benefits, leave, allowances, and other employment-related matters.\n\nWork closely with Finance to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.\n\nMaintain confidentiality of salary and employee information.\n\nHR Compliance & Documentation\n\nEnsure HR practices comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies in Tanzania.\n\nMaintain accurate personnel files and HR records.\n\nMonitor employment contracts, probation periods, leave records, attendance, and employee documentation.\n\nPrepare HR reports for management as required.\n\nSupport management during labour inspections, audits, and other official HR-related requirements.\n\nHealth, Safety & Employee Welfare\n\nWork with management and relevant departments to promote a safe and healthy workplace.\n\nSupport implementation of workplace health and safety policies.\n\nCoordinate employee welfare initiatives.\n\nPromote awareness of company rules, safety requirements, and professional conduct.\n\nHR Reporting\n\nPrepare monthly and periodic HR reports covering headcount, recruitment, turnover, absenteeism, leave, training, performance, and other key HR indicators.\n\nMaintain an updated organizational chart and employee database.\n\nProvide management with HR information and recommendations to support decision-making.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field,\n\nProfessional HR qualification is highly desirable.\n\nMinimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position.\n\nExperience in an engineering, construction, manufacturing, industrial, trading, or technical-services company is an advantage.\n\nGood knowledge of employment and labour requirements applicable in Tanzania.\n\nExperience with HR systems, payroll processes, and Microsoft
