As an Associate SOC Analyst, you will monitor and respond to security incidents, analyze alerts and threats, and work with a range of security tools. The role is a great opportunity to develop your cybersecurity expertise through hands-on experience, training and certifications.\nYou will be working in a 24/7 Security Operation Center (SOC) and together with us you will have these tasks:\nMain responsibilities:\nContinuously monitoring security alerts and events to detect potential security threats\nAnalyzing and prioritizing alerts based on the severity and potential impact of the threat\nInvestigating security incidents, identifying the root cause and taking appropriate actions based on established procedures\nEscalating incidents to higher-level analysts or other teams when necessary\nDocumenting and tracking security incidents in the ITSM system\nConducting basic threat analysis and using available threat intelligence to enhance detection capabilities\nOperating and maintaining security monitoring tools and providing input on tool configurations\nCommunicating findings and incident details to team members and other stakeholders\nGenerating reports on security incidents and monitoring activities\nParticipating in continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team\nSecurity tools and areas you will work with:\nSecurity Information & Event Management (SIEM)\nAntivirus (AV)\nEndpoint Detection and Response (EDR)\nVulnerability Management (VM)\nThreat Intelligence (TI)\nSOAR (Security Orchestration and Automatic Response)\nIntrusion Detection / Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)\nDNS, TCP/IP networks and protocols\nCloud platforms such as Azure and AWS\nJob requirements\nMinimum requirements:\nService-minded and a team player\nStructured, detail-oriented and committed to the quality of your work\nAble to communicate your professional knowledge to both end-users and experts\nSelf-driven and solution-oriented\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to quickly assess and respond to security incidents\nMinimum understanding of DNS, TCP/IP networks and protocols\nMinimum understanding of Antivirus, IDS/IPS, SIEM, SOAR and Vulnerability Management tools\nBasic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)\nKeen to learn and willing to take part in trainings and certifications\nFluent in English, both spoken and written\nWillingness to work in a 24/7 shift rotation, including nights, weekends and holidays\nTo undergo security check by the Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET)\nAs a person you are:\nA team player who is also capable of working independently\nStructured, detail-oriented and focused on delivering quality work\nPassionate about IT and especially cybersecurity\nSelf-driven, solution-oriented and willing to learn\nWe offer\nWe offer you the chance to make a difference with the fastest growing business in the field of IT.
