The role requires someone who can contribute to technical architecture, cloud automation, data platform design, and production-grade data pipelines.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and implement scalable data engineering solutions on GCP.\n\nBuild and maintain cloud-native data platforms and architectures.\n\nDesign data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes.\n\nDevelop production-grade data pipelines and applications using Scala and/or Java.\n\nDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Workflows / GitHub Actions.\n\nImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.\n\nSupport cloud architecture, automation, and DevOps practices.\n\nDesign and manage event-driven data architectures using Apache Kafka.\n\nPerform Kafka platform design, administration, configuration, and setup.\n\nWork with Google Bigtable, including design, implementation, tuning, and operational activities.\n\nCollaborate with Data Engineers and Product Teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.\n\nParticipate in and conduct technical design reviews.\n\nEnsure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement of the organization's cloud and data engineering practices.\n\nEssential Skills\nGoogle Cloud & Platform Engineering\nStrong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\n\nStrong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.\n\nExperience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.\n\nHands-on experience with GitHub Workflows / GitHub Actions.\n\nStrong understanding of cloud architecture.\n\nExperience with cloud automation and DevOps practices.\n\nData Engineering\nExperience designing and implementing scalable data candidate is a hands-on GCP Data Engineer with a strong combination of cloud platform engineering and data engineering expertise.\nThey should be comfortable working across the full data platform stack-from GCP infrastructure and Terraform through CI/CD, Kafka streaming, Bigtable, and application/data-pipeline development in Scala or Java.\nExperience with technical architecture and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and product stakeholders will be highly
