A strong focus on MLOps, ML architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and production reliability is essential.\nThe role will primarily operate within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem, using technologies such as BigQuery and Vertex AI.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, implement, and maintain machine learning models for pricing ancillary airline products such as:\nSeats\n\nBags\n\nExtra legroom\n\nPaid fare upgrades\n\nDesign and implement complete machine learning pipelines, covering model development, retraining, deployment, and monitoring.\n\nResearch and evaluate approaches to improve model performance and business outcomes.\n\nProductionize ML models and continuously monitor their performance.\n\nOptimize models and deployment processes to ensure low-latency production performance.\n\nEnsure ML solutions comply with internal engineering standards and best practices.\n\nTake a leading role in the team's MLOps activities.\n\nDesign and optimize ML architectures for scalable and reliable production environments.\n\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines for machine learning applications.\n\nImplement automated testing and quality controls for ML solutions.\n\nWork extensively with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\n\nUse BigQuery for data processing and analytics related to ML solutions.\n\nLeverage the Vertex AI suite for machine learning development and deployment.\n\nUse Terraform to implement Infrastructure as Code.\n\nContainerize ML applications using Docker.\n\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.\n\nCollaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other technical stakeholders to deliver robust ML solutions.\n\nEssential Skills\n6-8 years of relevant experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, ML Engineering, or a closely related field.\n\nStrong experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production.\n\nStrong understanding of the complete ML lifecycle.\n\nHands-on experience with MLOps.\n\nStrong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.\n\nProven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.\n\nExperience with ML architecture design and optimization.\n\nStrong experience with testing and quality assurance for ML solutions.\n\nHands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\n\nExperience with BigQuery.\n\nExperience with Vertex AI or the broader Vertex AI suite.\n\nExperience with Docker and containerized applications.\n\nExperience with GitHub Actions.\n\nExperience monitoring and improving production ML models.\n\nUnderstanding of low-latency ML deployments.\n\nAbility to build scalable, reliable, and maintainable ML solutions.\n\nDesirable Skills\nExperience with pricing or revenue optimization models.\n\nExperience working with airline, travel, e-commerce, or dynamic pricing use cases.\n\nExperience developing models for product recommendations, upselling, or ancillary revenue.\n\nBroader experience with cloud-native data and ML architectures.\n\nMLOps Focus\nA key requirement of this position is the ability to lead the MLOps aspect within the team.
