This role requires application of engineering principles, 3D modelling, and structural analysis techniques to ensure safe, compliant, and effective solutions that meet project requirements. The incumbent will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support certification, documentation, and implementation of modifications across a diverse fleet of aircraft.\nKey Duties & Responsibilities:\nDesign and develop airframe components and structural systems for aircraft modification projects, from concept to final design.\nCreate detailed 3D models, 2D engineering drawings, and layouts using SolidWorks, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.\nPerform structural stress analysis using both classical hand calculation methods and Finite Element Methods (FEM).\nParticipate in design reviews and contribute to the preparation of certification, compliance, and technical documentation.\nCollaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure designs are practical, safe, and efficient for intended applications.\nProvide technical support during manufacturing, installation, and testing phases.\nEnsure all work meets regulatory requirements (e.g., Transport Canada, FAA, EASA) and company quality standards.\nStay current on industry trends, technologies, and materials relevant to aerospace structural design.\nThe Environment\nThis is not just another engineering role - it’s a chance to work at the heart of aviation innovation.
