Join us.\nWe are currently looking for an Information Security Specialist to assist with the development and implementation of a comprehensive Cyber Security Program. You will work with both corporate and managed services business units to select and deploy technical controls to protect the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of Itron intellectual property and customer data. Responsibilities\nYou will support the implementation of an Cyber Security Program including recommending necessary solutions, controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard globally distributed energy systems.\n\nYou will provide second-level support and analysis during and after a security incident.\n\nReview security technologies, tools, and services, and make recommendations to the broader security team\n\nConduct incident response exercises with colleagues throughout the organization and incorporate lessons learned into existing security practices\n\nConduct forensic analysis of security-related incidents in a manner consistent with guidance from the organization's counsel, human resources, or law enforcement, as the case may be\n\nAssist and leader security system administration and management of security tools including ITSM tickets through ServiceNOW.\n\nYou will participate in information security projects, SOC Services, EDR, SIEM, Azure and Microsoft Defender products\n\nDevelop tools, utilities, and reports to detect, alert and report on security issues and policy violations.\n\nRequirements\nBasic knowledge of information security technologies\n\nMinimum 3 years of experience on the OPS side, eg.: Technical support, System admin etc.\n\nCan-do attitude and the will to share knowledge as part of a team.\n\nDetail-oriented mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to take ownership of issues and follow them through to resolution\n\nSome experience with O365 and Azure\n\nA strong desire to strive to do things better\n\nNice to have\nGood understanding of Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra)\n\nExperience managing security tools such as endpoint protection, data filtering (Web, Data, Email), firewalls, and SIEM / log management technology.\n\nPowershell, Python, KQL or Bash Scripting\n\nExperience with Linux, Windows Operating System\n\nEngineer level experience with cloud and traditional network concepts\n\nUnderstanding of OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK framework\n\nMulticloud security concepts (ex: Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus\n\nWhat we offer\nOpportunity to create a more resourceful world by working on the 21st century's biggest challenges: water, energy, and gas\n\nR&D center with immense growth in the heart of Budapest at Deák Ferenc square\n\nCutting-edge technologies (Cloud, IoT)\n\nPersonal development: English, soft skills, and technical training (Udemy, Pluralsight, etc.)\n\nBenefits: accident and life insurance, private outpatient care support, cafeteria, iPhone with a generous data allowance\n\nStrong culture promoting work-life balance, remote and flexibility\n\nDepending on your experience, this role is expected to offer between 14,000,000 HUF and 21,400,000 HUF annually.
