Join us.\nThis Intern - Treasury position provides finance students with the opportunity to learn, grow their experience, and contribute to the field of corporate treasury in a global multinational enterprise.\nThe ideal candidate will be preparing for a career in corporate treasury and will have experience using Microsoft Suite software applications.\nDuration:\n40 hours per week during summer 2027. The target start is May/June, and the internship concludes August/September, depending on student’s academic schedule.\nJob Duties & Responsibilities:\nSupport cash management, cash positioning and cashflow forecasting activities\nAssist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly closing requirements\nCoordinate in the review of various Treasury procedures to remove redundancies and increase efficiencies\nAssist in the monitoring and review of bank charges database to identify and recommend improvements\nCollaborate with the Treasury system analysts on data comparison and validation\nContribute to Treasury team projects\nAssist the front and back office with spot trades, intercompany netting and balance sheet hedging\nAssist in the monitoring of processes related to the Treasury Management System (e.g., bank statement flows, payment file movements)\nRequired Skills & Experience:\nEducation: enrolled in an accredited and related degree program with completion of at least two years of college-level coursework (Finance, Accounting or related)\nIntermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, formulas, functions, etc.)\nProfessional workplace communication skills\nKnowledge of corporate treasury\nPreferred Skills & Experience:\nPrior related experience\nAdvanced Excel skills\nTravel: 0 - 10%\nPhysical Demands:\nThis is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.\nThis position will be tied to our Liberty Lake, WA location with hybrid work flexibility of 2 days on-site per week.\nLiberty Lake, WA: $15.87 - $44.23 per hour\nItron is committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce and providing an authentic workplace experience for all employees.
