Join us.\nAs a Manufacturing Technician (2nd Shift), you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operations within our manufacturing or environment. You will be tasked with conducting routine inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and resolving equipment failures in a timely manner. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet operational needs.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nAdhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.\nSafely troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems for our production equipment.\nRepair or replace defective parts and components, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.\nMaintain communication with production supervision and support staff regarding the status and capabilities of the equipment.\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.\nAssist Engineers and Support Staff on special projects.\nStay aware of product/process trends.\nAssist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and systems.\nRequired Skills & Experience:\nAssociate's degree in Mechatronics, or related degree or equivalent experience is required.\nStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.\n1+ years of related experience as a technician in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong communication skills and “team first” mentality.\nDesire to learn, grow, and have fun in a fast paced environment.\nPreferred Skills & Experience:\nPLC troubleshooting experience is preferred\n\nTravel: 0-10%\nItron is committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce and providing an authentic workplace experience for all employees.
