Join us.\nTitle : Product Manager.\nLocation : Cikarang, Indonesia.\nRole description:\nBased in our Manufacturing and R&D Center for APAC region, (Cikarang, Indonesia) and reporting to the Team leader, you join the product management team in charge of Water Meters & modules for APAC region. You are responsible for the strategic orientation of the product roadmap for this product line in cooperation with the European team, and you are accountable for the profitability.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nOwn all aspects of product management from defining requirements and development through to end-of-life.\nDefine product roadmaps and requirements to deliver products in APAC region ensuring the portfolio operates at target profits.\nWork in cross-functional teams with sales and bid teams, engineering, and operations to grow the business and ensure efficient operations.\nTake ownership of the communication of the portfolio (internal & external), give product presentations to customers, represent Itron in global events.\nPrepare business case evaluation during and after project execution.\nEnsure regular reporting and portfolio reviews to all levels of the organisation, from project level to executive.\nSupport creation of technical documentations (product description, brochure) and update internal systems (create and maintain part numbers, update pricelists).\nSupport the introduction in APAC market of other products from Europe in cooperation with the Product Management Team in Eu.\nBe accountable for profitability (educate engineers on design-to-cost, overview cost, define price lists)\nBe the expert of Metrology technical aspects & communication protocols.\nAnalyse sales, monitor costs and competitors and coordinate the prices with the sales teams, ensure right positioning compared to competitors.\nInstall a Business Culture in the technical teams by supporting them in their reflections of \"design to cost\" and profitability.\nPreferred Skills & Experience:\nDegree in Engineering or in Marketing.\nMinimum 10 years of experience in Product management B to B in APAC region, preferably with product related with the water distribution cycle.\nExtensive experience in strategic portfolio development to expand business beyond existing solutions.\nKnowledge in metering, metrology, utility business is a plus.\nFluent English is mandatory.\nYou are result-oriented and proactive.\nExcellent written and oral communication skills as well good presentation skills and the ability to communicate at all levels in the organization.\nAbility to support/manage projects in an international matrix environment and to collaborate with people from diverse cultures\nOrganized and flexible, you can handle several projects at the same time in an international environment.\nAnalytical and strategic way of thinking.\nProblem-solving mindset.\nCurious, self-starter with strong initiative, adaptability\nThis position is based in East Jakarta Industrial Park, Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java 17550 and can include some international travel.\nItron is committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce and providing an authentic workplace experience for all employees.
