As a Product Manager on the Network Interface Card (NIC) hardware team, you will help shape products that bring advanced capabilities to the edge, including Distributed Intelligence, eRedCap, and other emerging technologies.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to manage an important existing product portfolio while helping define and deliver the next generation of NIC solutions that support the evolving needs of utilities and connected infrastructure around the world. We are looking for a collaborative, customer-centric, and innovative professional who is passionate about delivering technology solutions that create value for customers and stakeholders.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nParticipate in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process from requirements definition through product launch and sustaining support.\n\nOwn product lifecycle management for Network Interface Card products, including roadmap planning, regional variants, launch readiness, sustaining activities, and end-of-life planning and execution.\n\nServe as the product subject matter expert for Network Interface Cards, guiding technical, commercial, operational, and customer-facing decisions with accountability and sound judgment.\n\nCollaborate closely with Engineering, partners, and cross-functional teams on product requirements, detailed designs, functional specifications, project execution, and testing.\n\nLead cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, Services, Regulatory, and Operations to ensure successful product delivery and support.\n\nEnsure products are orderable, deliverable, and supported through appropriate supply chain, procurement, documentation, training, and service delivery processes.\n\nSupport Sales, Services, Marketing, and internal teams with product positioning, pricing inputs, technical questions, customer presentations, and enablement materials.\n\nSupport customer escalations and field performance management by providing product expertise, monitoring quality and reliability trends, and coordinating cross-functional resolution of product-related concerns.\n\nManage regulatory, certification, and regional deployment requirements where NICs vary by geography, carrier, spectrum, antenna, or utility requirements.\n\nMaintain awareness of competitive offerings and emerging RF, cellular, Wi-SUN, carrier, antenna, IoT, and AMI network technology trends to help drive innovation and continuous product improvement.\n\nDemonstrate agility in adapting to changing business needs, market conditions, and customer requirements while contributing to a collaborative and inclusive team environment.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nStrong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nAnalytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to organize information, evaluate trade-offs, and make data-informed recommendations.\n\nProactive, detail-oriented, and accountable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a global, cross-functional environment.\n\nTechnical aptitude and eagerness to learn complex hardware, communications, and utility network products.\n\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, Services, and other internal stakeholders.\n\nCustomer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer and business needs.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while maintaining authenticity, professionalism, and inclusivity.\n\nPreferred Skills & Experience\nPrevious experience in product management, technical product management, program management, engineering, or a related technical role.\n\nExperience with hardware product development, manufacturing, or supply chain processes.\n\nFamiliarity with RF, cellular, Wi-SUN, IoT, AMI, embedded systems, antennas, or utility communications networks.\n\nExperience translating customer, market, or technical inputs into product requirements, business cases, or strategic recommendations.\n\nExperience supporting customer-facing discussions, technical issue resolution, or cross-functional project execution.\n\nKnowledge of product lifecycle management practices, launch processes, and sustaining engineering activities.\n\nExperience working within the Utilities, Energy, Industrial IoT, or connected infrastructure sectors is a plus.\n\nTravel: Up to 15%\nPhysical Demands: No specific physical demands associated with this position.\nBenefits Info: This position also includes a competitive benefit package including; financial, social, health and wellbeing programs, paid vacation, 401k matching, employee stock purchase program, hybrid work schedule, and more!\n#LI-QW1\nItron is committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce and providing an authentic workplace experience for all employees.
