Join us.\nWe are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy, definition, and execution for key capabilities of Itron’s Intelligent Edge Operating System (IEOS). This role focuses on the IEOS Data Platform, governed data products, data sharing, and platform AI enablement.\nThe ideal candidate is a customer-centric product leader who excels at identifying real customer challenges, translating them into clear product requirements, and delivering secure, scalable, innovative platform capabilities. This role will play a critical part in advancing how AI is responsibly applied across IEOS data products through strong governance, security, accountability, and responsible AI practices.\nAs a collaborative and agile partner across Engineering, Customer Success, Delivery, and Sales, you will help shape solutions that are valuable to customers, operationally effective, and commercially successful within the Utilities and Energy industry.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nDefine and drive product strategy, vision, and roadmap investments for the IEOS Data Platform, Data Lake and related platform capabilities.\n\nDevelop governed data products and data-sharing offerings that address customer needs and can be consistently deployed, supported, and scaled.\n\nPartner with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into product opportunities and requirements.\n\nDefine functional and non-functional requirements, including security, reliability, observability, auditability, scalability and compliance considerations.\n\nLead product definition and packaging of IEOS data products for customer analytics environments, including platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.\n\nEstablish product requirements for applying shared platform AI capabilities to IEOS data and workflows, including responsible AI controls, explainability, auditability, governance and secure access patterns.\n\nCollaborate closely with Engineering teams to balance customer value, technical feasibility, operational requirement and long-term platform strategy.\n\nPartner with Customer Success and Delivery teams to improve onboarding experiences, implementation readiness, supportability and adoption of IEOS data-sharing solutions.\n\nSupport customer-facing activities, including technical workshops, discovery sessions, solution presentations, and RFP/RFI responses.\n\nAdvocate for customer outcomes while driving accountable product decisions that align with business objectives and platform evolution.\n\nFoster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and cross-functional cllaboration to deliver meaningful value to utility customers.\n\nMonitor product performance, customer adoption, market trends, and emerging technologies to inform future roadmap priorities.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\n7+ years of product management experience within enterprise software environments.\n\nProven ability to define products from customer problems and customer outcomes, not solely from feature requests or backlog execution.\n\nExperience translating customer needs into product requirements, workflows, constraints, and measurable business outcomes.\n\nStrong experience working with engineering teams on cloud platforms, data architectures, APIs, analytics solutions, and operational tradeoffs.\n\nDemonstrated ability to develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps that deliver measurable customer and business value.\n\nExcellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to influence technical, commercial, and executive audiences.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.\n\nExperience leading cross-functional initiatives in collaborative, agile environments.\n\nCommitment to customer-centric product development, accountability, and continuous improvement.\n\nKnowledge of enterprise security, governance, compliance, and operational requirements for data platforms.\n\nPreferred Skills & Experience\nExperience with cloud SaaS platforms, data platforms, analytics ecosystems, or governed data products.\n\nExperience in the Utilities and Energy industry.\n\nFamiliarity with Snowflake, Databricks, and modern data-sharing architectures.\n\nKnowledge of data governance frameworks, data product management, and enterprise data-sharing practices.\n\nExperience with AI-enabled products, responsible AI principles, explainability frameworks, and model governance.\n\nUnderstanding of enterprise security, auditability requirements, and regulatory considerations related to data and AI solutions.\n\nExperience supporting customer-facing activities such as technical workshops, solution demonstrations, and RFP/RFI processes.\n\nAdvanced degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.\n\nDemonstrated success delivering innovative platform solutions that improve customer adoption, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.\n\nBenefits Info: This position also includes a competitive benefit package including;
