Find out today - www.its4logistics.com.\nPosition Summary\nThe VAS Lead is responsible for overseeing daily VAS operations, including customer returns, project execution, staffing, productivity, quality, and customer requirements.\nThe VAS Lead will manage temporary labor requests, collaborate with staffing agency representatives and site leadership to ensure appropriate labor coverage, and provide direction and support to VAS and Returns team members. This role will also monitor operational performance, address issues, and ensure projects and returns are completed safely, accurately, and within established timelines.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nLead the day-to-day execution of VAS projects from initiation through completion, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.\nProvide direction, coaching, and support to VAS associates and temporary employees, ensuring clear expectations for productivity, quality, and safety.\nPartner with clients, Customer Service, Operations, and warehouse leadership to establish project scope, priorities, timelines, staffing, and resource requirements.\nEnsure materials, supplies, equipment, work instructions, and documentation are available and ready prior to project start.\nMonitor daily productivity, quality, staffing, and project progress; communicate status and proactively address issues that may impact timelines or customer commitments.\nIdentify operational challenges and implement or recommend solutions to maintain project efficiency and service levels.\nEnsure VAS and customer returns activities are completed accurately and in accordance with customer-specific work instructions and service level agreements.\nCoordinate staffing needs with temporary staffing agencies and support onboarding, training, attendance, performance, and assignment management.\nReview and validate staffing agency invoices for accuracy, including hours worked, billing rates, and applicable agency mark-up rates, ensuring charges align with established agreements.\nMaintain accurate project, production, staffing, and invoice records while providing timely updates to leadership and escalating discrepancies or concerns as appropriate.\nPromote a safe, organized, and productive work environment and serve as a key point of contact for VAS operations, escalating issues to warehouse leadership as appropriate.\nPosition Requirements\nThe successful Candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:\nPrevious warehouse, distribution, VAS, returns, or related operational experience; prior lead experience preferred.\nStrong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing productivity, staffing, and agency billing information.\nStrong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively direct and support a team.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and email; experience with warehouse management systems preferred.\nHigh school education or equivalency, higher education preferred\nRegular manual labor including; lifting, placing, packing and numerous repetitive tasks depending on the particular project\nPercentage of time spent in warehouse: 100%\nPhysical Demands\nConstantly moves about the facility floor; stands and walks on concrete surfaces for 8 to 10 hours per shift.\nFrequently lifts and repositions packages or containers weighing up to 50 lbs. Regularly pushes or pulls rolling carts or manual pallet jacks loaded with inventory.\nContinually reaches, stretches, bends, stoops, kneels, and crouches to access low-level or high-level inventory racking.\nGrasps, manipulates, and handles shipping materials, scanning hardware, and individual products of varying shapes and sizes.\nPerforms work in a dynamic warehouse environment subject to seasonal temperature variations, dust, and continuous noise from machinery.
