Find out today - www.its4logistics.com.\nPosition Summary\nThis position reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for leading the execution of daily operational activities for the warehouse. This individual will work closely with operations leadership team, customer care, and sales to ensure that customer expectations are met, if not exceeded. We are looking for a solid performer player with succession capabilities beyond this role; one with the capacity to engage teams and build followership\nPrinciple Accountabilities\nOversee various warehouse activities to include daily operations scheduling and coordination of staff productivity to meet budgetary goals\nResponsible for the management of all Warehouse personnel including goal setting, annual reviews, on-going training, disciplinary action, hiring and termination\nOperate within the agreed budget (P&L) for the warehouse\nDevelop and train the Supervisory and Lead staff on the essential functions of leadership\nCollaborate in the development of SOPs for the Warehouse area.\nOversee inventory control activities\nUtilize the Warehouse Management System to ensure:Management of cycle counting/adjustment/rotation programs\nProductivity and Space utilization (efficient product placement, etc.)\nAccuracy (to floor and Customer book)\nIdentify opportunities for technology enhancement\n\nCollaborate with Sales, Customer Service Representatives, and other Managers to facilitate new business implementations, current account changes and corrective action regarding operational service failures\nDrive a best-in-class safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety related programs\nEnsure that material handling equipment is safely and productively utilized within the operation. Ensure the management of equipment maintenance\nUnderstand and promote the company values and mission statement and achieve “Excellence in Everything We Do”\nPosition Requirements\nThe ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated record of accomplishment in a warehousing / logistics culture with a focus on safety, reliability, and process improvement. Food safety experience is highly desirable.\nAdditional requirements include:\nBachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, or a related degree preferred, but not required.\nFour + years of experience as a supervisor or Manager in Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain\nExcellent leadership and strong interpersonal skills. A proven coach and motivator, with a strong customer service orientation for both the internal and external customer.\nA make-it-happen person, who is flexible, adaptable and possesses a high sense of urgency.\nGets the job done right and on time, despite obstacles.\nExcellent analytical, problems solving, and communication skills (oral and written)\nExcellent organizational and leadership skills\nAbility to work with a high degree of autonomy\nSolid skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\nPhysical Demands\nConstantly stands, walks, and moves across concrete facility floors for the duration of an 8- to 12-hour shift to oversee operations and manage team performance.\nContinuous use of advanced verbal and auditory skills to conduct shift stand-ups, deliver real-time coaching, and coordinate across automated logistics channels.\nFrequently positions self to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach overhead to audit process integrity, clear tracking exceptions, and enforce safety protocols.\nStrict requirement for close and distance visual precision to interpret operational metrics on tablets, monitor floor safety, and navigate active industrial environments.\nPerforms work in a fast-paced, high-volume logistics facility with exposure to loud conveyor machinery, warehouse dust, and variable seasonal temperatures.
