Our employees are the most important partners and we want them to be happy and feel valued. \nITSector has six Strategic Nearshore Centers: Aveiro, Braga, Bragança, Castelo Branco, Lisboa and our headquarters are in Porto.\nDo you want to be part of this innovative team with a healthy work environment?\n\nLet's take a look at the profile we are looking for:\nAmbitious people with a passion for this area;\nDegree in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or similar;\nMinimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years designing and implementing AI-based solutions in production environments;\nHands-on experience with state-of-the-art LLMs such as GPT, Gemini, Claude, Llama, Mistral, or equivalent models;\nAbility to design effective prompting and context-engineering strategies, structured outputs, and evaluation approaches to optimize LLM performance for production use;\nExperience building AI agent applications using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Google ADK, Microsoft Agent Framework, or comparable technologies;\nUnderstanding of agent workflows, multi-step reasoning, memory management, tool calling, and state orchestration;\nStrong Python development skills;\nExperience with additional programming languages like .NET (mandatory);\nKnowledge of asynchronous programming, API development, relational and NoSQL databases, and scalable service-oriented architectures;\nExperience designing and implementing AI pipelines for document ingestion, indexing, retrieval, and response generation;\nUnderstanding of AI quality evaluation, latency optimization, and cost monitoring;\nExperience working with Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or equivalent cloud environments;\nKnowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and CI/CD practices;\nFamiliarity with cloud security, identity management (IAM), and deployment automation;\nFamiliarity with AI-powered software development tools, including GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted testing, code review, and development workflows;\nExperience implementing secure secret management and applying data governance and privacy best practices, including GDPR compliance;\nWritten and verbal communication skills (Portuguese and English);\nPassion for learning and staying up to date with the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem;
