The Specialized Account Manager has an opportunity to build a successful career in the trillion-dollar supply chain and logistics industry. Our world-class, paid training program gives you a solid foundation, and after that the sky is the limit for your growth. \nWe invest deeply in our new hires by providing up to 2 weeks of paid training to prepare them for their important role as a member of our team. The role will serve as a member of our brokerage team and will help support the growth of our specialized transportation base. The role will work closely with various members of our organization.\n Principle Accountabilities\nWork directly with our valued carriers to deepen relationships and strengthen ITS’ position as a best-in-class specialized transportation provider.\nWork as needed with our customers to build unique and out-of-the-box solutions to complex specialized transportation needs.\nProactively solicits new and existing accounts for new opportunities, documenting, communicating, and executing all business requirements.\nBecomes the Specialized transportation expert, training and enabling brokerage teams to become more knowledgeable in the field.\nProactively on-boards and develops new customers including creating, updating, and maintaining new and existing SOPs.\nWorks closely with the Outside Sales team to help develop and leverage the sales strategy to land new opportunities for both new and existing customers.\nEnsures customer interactions and feedback are entered into the CE.\nPrices all opportunities (ad-hoc, bid board, dedicated, etc.)\nMaintains the client pipeline and hits internal CRM KPI’s established.\nNegotiates customer rates and creates RFPs.\nResponsible for ensuring excellence in our data integrity.\nProvide excellent customer service in a timely manner, including shipment status updates, communicating with customers, and updating to customer portals.\nAdditional duties as assigned.\nAbout The Requirements\nThe ideal candidate must have an above average attention to detail and be very organized. The candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
