Starting in Belgium, we successfully launched the itsme app in 32 European countries, with the ambition of becoming an internationally leading player.\nWe are currently looking for a Business Controller. You will join a small, hands-on finance team in a scale-up and report to the Finance Manager. Your core is FP&A and business partnering, but you don’t stay in one lane. You work closely with our Business Operations team, the NetSuite and Salesforce experts, to make sure our data is reliable from source to report.\nWhat your job looks like\nFP&A and reporting\n\nYou prepare the monthly reporting for management, shareholders and team leads, and explain the story behind the numbers.\nYou build and maintain budgets and rolling forecasts, and track how changes in the organisation impact them.\nYou analyse variances and flag what needs attention.\nYou develop and improve our BI reporting (currently Power BI).\nBusiness partnering\n\nYou are a finance partner for the whole organisation. As a small company, that means working with every department, from operations and sales to product and HR.\nYou support business cases: you build the financial model, challenge assumptions and help management make the right decision.\nYou deliver accurate data for cross-departmental projects.\nSupport across finance\n\nYou step in where the team needs you. Depending on the moment, that means backing up accounting during the close, contributing to tax projects such as the wage withholding tax exemption and the innovation income deduction, or supporting customer billing.\nData and AI in finance\n\nYou help automate and improve finance processes, increasingly using AI tools.\nYou review AI-generated output critically and make sure what leaves finance is correct.\nRequirements\nYou have at least 3 years of experience in audit or controlling.\n\nYou hold a master’s degree in economics, business, accounting or a similar field\n\nYou are accurate. You check your own work and spot inconsistencies quickly.\n\nYou are data driven and comfortable working with large datasets. Experience with BI tools (ideally Power BI), an ERP (ideally NetSuite) and/or a CRM (ideally Salesforce) is a plus.\n\nYou are flexible and like variety.
