This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operational accounting and finance within a world-renowned, publicly traded aerospace manufacturing company. Under mentorship the intern will gain exposure to both general and manufacturing-specific financial practices, contributing to meaningful projects and learning industry standards.\nEssential Responsibilities\nAssist the Accounting/Finance team with daily operational activities\nReview and update current standard operating procedures\nGain an understanding of ITT’s SOX policies and procedures\nMaintain and file documents in accordance with ITT’s retention policy\nSupport resolution of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) items\nParticipate in inventory audits and cost analysis\nPosition Requirements\nCurrently enrolled in an Accounting or Finance undergraduate program (BS), in good academic standing (GPA of 3.0 or higher) and has completed their Junior year\nKnowledge and understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting regulations\nSolid grasp of accrual accounting principles\nFamiliarity with accounting information systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)\nEqual Pay Act Statement\nWe aim to pay our ‘ITT’ers’ fairly and competitively in the locations that they live and work.
