Our leading brands includeITT Cannon, Enidine, Aerospace Controls and kSARIA.\nPosition Summary\nThe Project Engineer leads cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to customer specifications. This role manages all phases of the project lifecycle, from design and testing to production and delivery, ensuring quality, technical accuracy, and smooth coordination between engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with exceptional project management skills to drive innovation, resolve challenges, and achieve results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\nEssential Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain detailed project plans based on ITT Value Based Product Development process, supplier manufacturing plans, internal manufacturing plans, logistics processing time, and quality control and testing.\nAssign duties or responsibilities to project personnel and lead cross-functional teams through all phases of project lifecycles.\nCoordinate with vendors to ensure that products are delivered on time, in the correct quantities, and meet all contract quality standards.\nDevelop a strong partnership and interaction within the engineering and project team to manage Technical Data Packages and other engineering processes.\nEnsure customer requirements are met and manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication.\nConfer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.\nCreate program and project status presentations for delivery to stakeholders, leadership, and project personnel.\nImplement and manage detailed project schedules and risk and opportunity registers.\nMonitor the performance of project team members to provide performance feedback.\nPrepare professional and user-friendly project related communications for distribution to employees, customers, leadership, and suppliers.\nProvide technical and proposal support to the Sales and Production Departments.\nPlans and formulates engineering project and organizes project staff according to project requirements.\nAssigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing.\nReviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements, and related specifications.\nCoordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.\nDirects integration of technical activities and products.\nEvaluates and approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.\nManages technical and program scope.\nControls budget and expenditures within limitations of approved budget.\nPosition Requirements\nBachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent education and experience.\n3+ years’ experience in an aerospace engineering and manufacturing environment, with 2+ years in project engineering/management.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Project.\nMicrosoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat.\nOutstanding organizational and time-management abilities.\nProven track record of successful project delivery from start to finish.\nWorking knowledge of ERP/MRP systems - Preferably Oracle.\nStrong communication and presentation skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership talent necessary to drive positive outcomes of design / manufacturing projects.\nFoundational understanding of finance/project finance to make informed decisions that affect the financial health of a project.\nSkilled at customer relations, managing expectations and building relationships / partnerships.\nThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
