Our leading brands includeITT Cannon, Enidine, Aerospace Controls and kSARIA.\nPosition Summary\nITT Enidine is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team in Orchard Park, NY. The Supplier Quality Engineer will participate and lead MRB activities, manage supplier performance, perform source inspections & audits, and manage NPI verification activities.\nEssential Responsibilities\nSupport Material Review board (MRB) activities, including:\nInvestigate supplier rejections\n\nManage SCAR’s\n\nCoordinating return-to-vendor (RTV) activities\n\nTracking corrective action status\n\nServe as primary quality owner for high-risk suppliers.\n\nReview and disposition supplier deviations in collaboration with engineering and operations.\n\nManage assigned suppliers within the Approved Supplier List (ASL)\n\nLead supplier audits and on-site assessments\n\nDrive supplier performance improvements using scorecards and metrics\n\nAssist supervision in establishing and maintaining supplier performance metrics and reports\n\nSupport supplier onboarding and development.\n\nReview FAI submissions and ensure compliance with requirements.\n\nAssist suppliers with development of control plans/inspection plans\n\nMentor SQEs and inspectors and influence cross-functional teams\n\nIdentify and drive continuous improvement initiatives impacting DPPM, OTD, Scrap and cost\n\nEnsure robust flow-down and compliance with customer-specific and regulatory requirements\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nPosition Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline; or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, certifications, and relevant supplier quality or manufacturing quality experience.\n\n5+ years of quality experience in manufacturing.\n\nExperience leading supplier corrective actions and root cause investigations.\n\nExperience working directly with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive improvement.\n\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.\n\nStrong attention to detail, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAerospace, defense, industrial, or regulated manufacturing experience\nAS9100 quality management system experience\nSupplier audit experience\nLean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience. \nThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
