This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting an effective and efficient Statutory Reporting process. You will be working with a number of stakeholders at various levels across a number of locations in our business.\nSome of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:\nPrepare FRS 101/102 statutory accounts and supporting working papers. \nPerform analytical reviews of statutory accounts; including detailed balance sheet analysis.\nWork closely with other finance colleagues, Group Secretariat and the business to complete the annual report and accounts to a high standard in line with best practice.\nBuild good relationships with our acquired entities and assist them throughout the statutory reporting process.\nAssist in the preparation of the financial statement template for use across the UK.\nAssist with the preparation of central documents that support the statutory accounts.\nMaintain a good working relationship with the external auditors to ensure audits are conducted efficiently and effectively.\niXBRL Tagging.\nProvide technical advice to other teams as necessary.\nAssist with other ad hoc projects throughout the year.\nSkills you’ll need (minimum criteria)\nACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified accountant.\nPreparation of financial statements under IFRS and UK Accounting Standards including FRS 101.\nExperience working within a large matrix commercial organisation.\nAbility to present technical information to non-technical audiences.\nOther things we’re looking for (key criteria)\nBuild and maintain good working relationships.\nCommercially astute with an inquisitive nature and desire to understand drivers behind the numbers and reports.\nPlease note, on occasion we may receive a very large volume of applications which means applications for a role may close earlier than the referenced closing date.
