You will be a natural leader who practises common sense, remains calm, and is able to support, nurture and train individuals on the project deliverables. Being a strong communicator is essential to be able to get the job done, assigning instructions to engineers as well as updating key stakeholders along the way.\nThe solutions that are offered to our customers can be varied and may often involve multiple vendors and 3rd parties so the ability to connect at all levels and overcome challenges is vital.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead projects from start to finish, working closely with different departments including Sales, Procurement and Clients to ensure project scope is clear and understood by all parties. \nOversee multiple different types of IT projects such as SIP phone system installations, cloud migrations, public Wi-Fi installations, cabling and infrastructure installations, hosted services, leased lines and connectivity installations. \nCreate and maintain detailed project plans that align with project scope, objectives and client requirements, continually monitoring progress, updating schedules and adjusting activities as required throughout the project lifecycle. \nAssign and allocate resources and project tasks according to project scope and requirements. \nIdentify and manage dependencies, risks and assumptions likely to affect project success. \nManage changes to project scope, ensuring project plans and associated documentation are updated accordingly. \nWork with the Procurement team to ensure equipment and materials are secured within the required project timeframes. \nLiaise with project stakeholders to ensure they are kept fully up to date with project progress. \nProvide support to Project Co-ordinators, giving clear instruction and guidance as required. \nManage outsourced third-party contractors, where required, to ensure works are completed in line with project requirements. \nContribute to the ongoing development of the project delivery process and act as a point of reference for project management matters.\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nRequired: - Experience managing IT Projects \nExperience working with complex, multi-dependant and multi-stakeholder projects. \nAbility to work in an organised manner and manage multiple projects simultaneously. \nGood understanding of on-premises and Cloud IT solutions and best practices. \nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. \nAbility to take full ownership of projects from handover through to successful delivery, handover and closure. \nCommercial awareness, with an understanding of project budgets, resource allocation and scope control. \nExperience managing project risks, issues, dependencies and changes, including appropriate escalation. \nExperience managing customer expectations and providing clear, regular project updates. \nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to take ownership of issues through to resolution. \n\nAdvantageous: -
