Our network is growing across Caboolture, Morayfield, Strathpine, Deception Bay, and Margate - now there’s an opportunity for you to be part of a great team making a real difference in people’s lives.\nAbout the role\nAs Nurse Educator BECS, your role is to provide support to parents and carers of infants and young children to enhance family functioning and to promote childhood development and parental wellbeing. The role will entail health promotion, education, developmental assessments, and other clinical care supporting one of our MATSICHS clinics. The position will also ensure care is integrated across other internal services including, primary care clinics, Birthing in Our Community, Family Wellbeing Services, social health, allied health and paediatric services. The position will deliver comprehensive home visiting service to women pregnant with an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander baby and their families in partnership with a Family Worker.\nThis is a community based role, working Monday-Friday - no shift work.\nYour day to day duties may include:\nProvide day-to-day health service activities to the designated communities within the context of Primary Health Care in a professional, confidential and culturally safe manner.\nAssist family’s transition and encourage continued engagement with their local medical service throughout their involvement with the Hub.\nEnsure infants and children have a current completed 715 Health Assessment, commencing at 6 weeks of age;
