With IUIH experiencing significant workforce growth over the decade the focus is on development, management and implementation of frameworks and programs to: increase Indigenous workforce participation, build required workforce capability through training and development opportunities, build workforce pathways, and create and nurture an innovative, inclusive, reflective and respectful environment built on Aboriginal Ways.\nAbout the Role?\nOpportunity available for Full Time, or Part Time employment.\nAs Trainer and Assessor, your role is to deliver, and where appropriate develop, accredited training and assessment for students enrolled in Vocational Education and Training programs implemented by IUIH in partnership with Registered Training Organisations.\nYour day-to-day duties will include:\nDeliver and assess culturally responsive and engaging training across relevant Health and Community Services accredited training packages.\nWhere required, write or adapt training curriculum specifically contextualised for SE QLD Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Services with innovative and rigorous assessment processes, in line with The Ways.\nDevelopment of contextualised and scaffolded training materials including session plans to support training plans and specific program requirements.\nParticipate in sustainable training and monitoring practices.\nWork with Organisational Development team to design, develop, implement and update tools relevant to the Student Journey.\nAbout You?\nCurrent Criminal History Check.\nCurrent C Class Drivers Licence (QLD).\nCurrent Working with Children’s Check (Qld Blue Card).\nCurrent Disability Worker Screening Check (Qld Yellow Card)\nCertificate IV in Training and Assessment.\nRelevant VET or tertiary qualification to program that will be Training and Assessing, with current trainer profile and currency in industry.\nCurrent First Aid and CPR.\nDemonstrated experience in working with RTO’s to achieve learning outcomes for students and industry.\nDemonstrated practical experience working in health and community services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
