You'll own the pipelines that move and transform data across our platform - connecting client data sources, keeping our warehouses clean, and enabling the analytics and AI workflows our products depend on. We're a distributed team that works collaboratively across time zones - not quite remote-first, but pretty close.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and third-party SaaS integrations\n\nDesign and lead data extraction and transformation strategy from Snowflake environments, exercising independent technical judgment to establish schema standards, transformation logic, and data quality criteria supporting downstream analysis and product use cases\n\nCollaborate with engineers and product teams to define data contracts and schema standards\n\nDesign and implement the alerting and observability strategy for data pipelines on GCP - defining SLOs, alert thresholds, and dashboards, and setting up the monitoring stack to support them\n\nOwn data quality - write validation logic, catch issues, problem solve and design solutions before they reach production\n\nBe involved in the full software lifecycle from design through deployment\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nBachelor’s Degree\n\n4+ years of software or data engineering experience\n\nHands-on experience extracting from and integrating with Snowflake\n\nProficiency with BigQuery and PostgreSQL\n\nStrong Python skills and comfort connecting to third-party APIs and SaaS data sources\n\nExperience building atomic, modular codebases\n\nFamiliarity with GCP or similar cloud infrastructure\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with Airflow, Polars, Parquet, or Spark\n\nFamiliarity with dbt or similar transformation tools\n\nInterest in the NLP/AI space\n\nComfort in a fast-moving startup environment\n\nWhy Join Us\nPipelines that directly power AI products used by blue-chip clients\n\nFlexible, remote-friendly work with a collaborative, low-bureaucracy team\n\nCompetitive comp and real ownership of your domain\n\nIV.AI is an equal opportunity employer.
