It is also responsible for internal IT infrastructures, IT applications and data, IT support for our users as well as the Security monitoring & IT security handling.\nROLE: \nWe are seeking an Operations Engineers to join our Platform Engineering team. These roles provide continuous infrastructure support across staggered shifts, ensuring system stability, operational excellence, and seamless handoff between coverage windows.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US \nExecute and support infrastructure automation workflows, including running and validating pre-defined automation jobs \n\nAssist in the maintenance and execution of configuration management and infrastructure provisioning pipelines \n\nManage and support containerized workloads, including service lifecycle operations (deployments, restarts, scaling, and troubleshooting)\n\nMonitor infrastructure health and respond to alerts or incidents in real-time, ensuring uptime and stability\n\nPerform VM lifecycle management (provisioning, resizing, decommissioning)\n\nExecute patch management and validate system updates\n\nSupport vulnerability remediation and escalate complex issues\n\nPerform backup validation and assist in restore operations\n\nMaintain and update operational documentation and runbooks\n\nParticipate in onboarding and offboarding of systems and users\n\nConduct peer reviews for operational changes and tasks\n\nEnsure clean shift handoffs with proper documentation\n\nSupport routine maintenance and scheduled operational activities\n\nAct as an operations point of contact for cross-functional teams, providing insight into system health and ongoing activities\n\nAssist in capacity monitoring and planning, identifying trends and escalating recommendations for scaling or optimization\n\nSupport data-driven decisions by helping gather and report on system performance and utilization metrics\n\nAssist with routine maintenance and operational tasks across container orchestration environments\n\nSupport and collaborate with senior engineers on complex issues, but operate within defined procedures for standard operations\n\nContribute to establishing a consistent operational tempo, including monitoring trends, identifying anomalies, and supporting proactive maintenance \n\nYOUR PROFILE\nRequired experience: \nAt least 3 years + experience in IT operations, systems administration, containerization, and infrastructure support\n\nBasic understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management principles\n\nFamiliarity with tools used for infrastructure provisioning and automation \n\nBasic understanding of containerization concepts (e.g., containers, images, service orchestration)\n\nBasic scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation and task efficiency\n\nUnderstanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, IP, routing, firewalls)\n\nFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure concepts (IaaS, VM management, storage)\n\nExperience with monitoring and alerting systems\n\nUnderstanding of security and vulnerability management concepts\n\nFamiliarity with Linux and Windows-based systems administration\n\nAbility to troubleshoot issues across application, container, and infrastructure layers\n\nProactive mindset toward identifying improvements in system performance and operational efficiency\n\nBachelor’s degree in IT, or relevant field preferred with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience OR Equivalent combination of educationand experience\nSoft skills:\nStrong attention to detail and process adherence\n\nAbility to work independently within defined procedures\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\n\nWHAT HAPPENS NEXT\nIf your application fits this specific position’s needs, our skilled Talent team will reach out to schedule an initial screening call.
