Follow us on LinkedIn \nTHE OPPORTUNITY\nCONTEXT: \nIvalua is hiring a North America Value Engineering (VE) Lead to own and scale ROI/value assessments for enterprise and public-sector Source-to-Pay opportunities across the U.S. and Canada. The VE Lead will engage with prospect and customer executive stakeholders (CPO, CFO, CIO) and Ivalua go-to-market teams to build business cases and value justifications for Ivalua solutions and guide customers to maximize the value they realize with Ivalua.\nROLE: \nThe Value Engineering Lead, North America will define, deliver, and scale the value assessment for enterprise and public sector prospects across the U.S. and Canada. You’ll work directly with senior executive stakeholders to model ROI, build transformation roadmaps, and guide executive decisions throughout the buying and adoption journey.\nThis role blends consulting, storytelling, and analytical rigor -ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business impact, technology, and enterprise transformation\nWHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US \nKey Responsibilities:\n Customer Value EngagementsLead value discovery and ROI engagements with executive sponsors (CFO, CPO, CIO) at key prospects and customers, managing several pursuits in parallel across different stages and time zones.\nBuild business cases quantifying the benefits and impact of our solutions.\nDeliver executive presentations demonstrating clear economic justification and transformation outcomes.\n\nStrategic InfluencePartner with Sales, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Systems Integrators, and other go-to-market teams to shape deals and post-go-live value realization.\nServe as a trusted advisor in large strategic pursuits, shaping deal structure, commercial approach, and value positioning through negotiation.\nRepresent North America in the global value engineering team, contributing to methodologies and playbooks.\n\nMethodology & EnablementDevelop frameworks for opportunity assessment, ROI modeling, and value tracking.\nCoach regional account teams to embed value conversations across the customer lifecycle.\nContribute value insights to Ivalua’s procurement thought leadership.\n\nLeadership & GrowthImprove the foundation for the North America VE function: continuously automate and improve processes, metrics, and AI-enabled tools.\nMentor sales, solution consultants, customer success, and services advisory team members to drive value engineering adoption and customer centricity.\nCollaborate with global peers to maintain a unified approach to value storytelling and measurement.\n\nYOUR PROFILE\nIf you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you:\nSkills and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, OR Master’s degree in relevant field with a minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience, OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.\n5+ years in management consulting, value engineering, or finance roles at enterprise software / technology vendors or consulting firms.\nProven experience developing business cases and presenting to senior executives (CFO/CPO/CIO).\nTrack record of leading or contributing to digital procurement, supply chain, or finance / operations transformation programs.\nDeep familiarity with SaaS business models and processes, ROI modeling, and value realization.\nSome travel required: 20%-30%\nSkills\nStrong financial acumen and ability to model and translate data into compelling executive narratives.\nExcellent communication and storytelling -comfortable leading workshops and presenting to C-suite audiences.\nSelf-starter mindset, ability to work in autonomy in a fast-paced environment.\nWillingness to embed with Sales and pursuit teams as a true deal partner: engage early in discovery and stay engaged through close.
