We are always seeking people who are energetic, collaborative and courageous.\nSeeking a Library Technician\nWe are seeking an organised and collaborative Library Technician to join our Library Services team, supporting the delivery of library programs, information services and learning resources for students and staff. You will play an important role in creating a positive, welcoming and dynamic library environment that encourages curiosity, learning and exploration.\nThis is a part-time (0.6 FTE), ongoing position commencing in January 2027, with flexibility around the days worked.\nWhat you will do\nAs Library Technician, you will support the effective day-to-day operation of the Library and work collaboratively with the library team, staff and students.\nIn this role you will:\nSupport the acquisition, cataloguing, processing and availability of library resources\nAssist with circulation desk duties, including borrowing, overdue items and library supervision\nMaintain accurate catalogue records using Accessit Library Management System\nAssist students and staff to effectively access and use online resources\nSupport stocktaking, subscriptions, memberships and the maintenance of library resources\nLiaise with faculties to ensure resources support curriculum needs across the School\nManage the upload and maintenance of online trial examinations\nWork collaboratively with the Library Services team to continually improve library programs, processes and the student experience\nWho you are\nYou are an organised and collaborative professional who enjoys working with students, staff and resources in a busy educational environment.
