Your work will influence how enterprise customers securely manage mobile devices, protect data, and deliver productive user experiences at scale.\nYou will serve as a technical authority for Android architecture, guide key platform decisions, and mentor engineering teams as we continue to build secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile solutions for customers around the world.\nWhat you’ll do\nDesign, build, and evolve world-class Android systems for Ivanti’s Mobile Device Management products.\nServe as a technical leader for Android platform architecture, long-term technical direction, and critical product components.\nPartner with product managers, designers, backend engineers, QA, and stakeholders to shape product vision and deliver seamless customer experiences.\nDefine scalable approaches to mobile security, performance, authentication, storage, networking, provisioning, privacy, and application management.\nWrite fast, secure, and maintainable Java and Kotlin code while contributing to high-quality Android user experiences.\nLead technical initiatives, break down complex problems, review design work, and mentor engineers across teams.\nEvaluate emerging Android technologies, frameworks, and CI/CD practices, recommending where they can strengthen Ivanti’s engineering approach.\nWhat you will bring\n8+ years of object-oriented software engineering experience, with deep expertise in native Android development.\nExpert-level knowledge of Java and Kotlin, including concurrency, multi-threading, design patterns, and performance optimisation.\nStrong understanding of Android frameworks, platform internals, design guidelines, and development best practices.\nExperience building secure Android applications, including secure interprocess communication between Android apps.\nA track record of developing high-quality Android applications, ideally published on the Google Play Store.\nExperience with enterprise mobility, mobile security, provisioning, application management, or related Android platform capabilities.\nGood understanding of security concepts such as cryptography and PKI.\nExperience with Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync protocol would be strongly preferred.\nTech., M.Tech. in Computer Science, or equivalent relevant development experience.\nWhy Ivanti?\nFriendly, flexible working model: Empower excellence whether you’re at home or in the office and support a healthy work-life blend.\nCompetitive compensation and total rewards: Including health, wellness, and financial plans designed to support you and your family.\nGlobal, diverse teams: Collaborate with talented people across 23+ countries.\nLearning and development: Grow your skills through access to best-in-class learning tools and career development programmes.\nEquity and belonging: We value every voice.
