You will work with complex data, navigate challenging technical environments, and collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver reliable, data-driven solutions that create measurable impact.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn customer engagements end to end - from initial discovery and understanding the agency's needs to delivering findings and measuring their impact.\nIdentify and evaluate external data sources that can expose the non-compliance the agency cares about, and build the collection and integration processes to acquire them.\nTurn raw data into reliable, actionable findings through entity resolution, risk signals, scoring, and data validation.\nDesign and build data pipelines, backend services, and analytical solutions that support customer investigations and decision-making.\nDeploy and integrate solutions into customer environments, including on-premises and air-gapped environments.\nBuild analytical and investigative tools, including AI-assisted features grounded in the data.\nWork closely with customers to understand their priorities, workflows, and challenges, translating their needs into practical technical solutions.\nCollaborate with Product and R&D teams, bringing customer insights and reusable solutions back into the shared codebase.\nValidate findings against their sources, measure results, and clearly communicate what the data can and cannot support.\nRequirements\n5+ years of hands-on experience building production data systems, backend services, or applied analytics over large-scale, real-world data.\nStrong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.\nExperience acquiring, processing, and integrating data from external and imperfect sources, including web data at scale.\nExperience designing and building data pipelines, backend services, and data-driven solutions.\nProven experience working directly with customers, including leading technical discussions, understanding business challenges, and translating requirements into technical solutions.\nExperience delivering technical solutions into customer or production environments, including environments handling sensitive or regulated data.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in ambiguous and complex environments.\nExperience with modern AI tooling, including AI-assisted development and LLM-based applications.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.\nWillingness and ability to travel to customer sites as required.\nBSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - an advantage.\nOur Stack\nWe work mostly in Python and SQL over cloud data warehouses, with Node/TypeScript on the product side, Kubernetes for collection and deployment, graph and search databases for entity and investigation work, and LLMs throughout.\nYou do not need to know all of it on day one;
