In this strategic leadership role, you will define the enterprise technology roadmap, architect our next-generation platforms, and drive engineering excellence across the entire organization.\n\nThe ideal candidate will possess extensive experience transforming legacy enterprise systems into modern, modular, event-driven distributed systems. You will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Business Leadership to build resilient, multi-tenant SaaS products that support hundreds of global customers on a single, configuration-driven codebase - minimizing customer-specific technical debt while optimizing infrastructure costs.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n1. Product & Technology Strategy : \n\n- Define and execute the long-term enterprise technology roadmap aligned with overarching business objectives.\n\n- Establish architecture principles, governance frameworks, and rigorous engineering standards across all product lines.\n\n- Actively groom and implement CTO backlog items to ensure our product stack remains robust, self-healing, and futuristic.\n\n- Evaluate emerging technologies and conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) to enhance platform scalability, agility, and operational efficiency.\n\n2. Platform Modernization : \n\n- Lead the modernization of legacy enterprise platforms (ERP/DMS) into modular, cloud-native architectures.\n\n- Devise and execute incremental migration strategies using industry best practices like the Strangler Fig Pattern.\n\n- Proactively analyze live application data to identify performance bottlenecks, reduce technical debt, and lower overall IT operational costs without disrupting business continuity.\n\n3. SaaS & Distributed Systems Architecture : \n\n- Design a highly scalable, secure, and multi-tenant SaaS platform capable of serving hundreds of global tenants.\n\n- Implement a configuration-over-customization philosophy supported by tenant isolation, feature management, versioning, and plugin-based extensibility.\n\n- Leverage Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to identify bounded contexts, define aggregates, and maintain clear service boundaries.\n\n- Build modern architectures utilizing Business Rules Engines, Workflow Engines, Decision Tables, and Policy-Based Architectures.\n\n4. Data & Integration Architecture : \n\n- Design loosely coupled, scalable data architectures utilizing repository abstractions and API-driven data access.\n\n- Implement CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation), event-driven integration, and explicit data ownership principles.\n\n- Establish strict compliance architecture and methods covering data storage, metadata management, read models, and change control.\n\n5. Engineering Leadership & DevSecOps : \n\n- Provide technical leadership and act as a hands-on mentor for the tech lead and architect community, infusing best practices from the global EA landscape.\n\n- Foster a collaborative engineering culture centered around reusable frameworks, automation, and continuous improvement.\n\n- Drive the adoption of DevSecOps, defining CI/CD pipeline standards, containerization strategies, and secure deployment automation.\n\n- Champion platform resilience by improving observability, monitoring, logging, high availability, and disaster recovery frameworks.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience : \n\n- Overall Experience : 15 to 22 years of total experience in enterprise software development and architecture, with at least 5+ years in a dedicated Enterprise Architect or similar role within a SaaS product organization.\n\n- Core Development Stack : High proficiency in Microsoft .NET / .NET Core / Framework as a primary programming skill; hands-on exposure to Python is preferred.\n\n- Cloud Platforms : Deep architecture and deployment experience using AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud hosting platforms.\n\n- Architecture & Patterns : Microservices, Modular Monoliths, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture, CQRS, and Enterprise Integration Patterns.\n\n- Data & Search Tools : Extensive knowledge of SQL Server (or major RDBMS), Elasticsearch, and strong background in Metadata Management.\n\n- DevOps & Infrastructure : Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, API Gateways, Messaging Platforms, and Distributed Caching.\n\n- Application Depth : Full-stack development exposure with architectural experience covering both web and mobile technologies.\n\n- Candidates with deep, hands-on domain expertise in building enterprise SaaS platforms for the following verticals will be highly preferred : Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Distribution Management Systems (DMS), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Retail / FMCG / Sales Automation Platforms.\n\nSkills\nEnterprise Architect, Enterprise Architecture, SaaS, Distributed Systems, .Net, .Net Core, Microservices Architecture, SQL Server, Technical Architect","description_format":"text","description_chars":4981,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":15,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Sales Enablement","Retail & Commerce AI"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-26T08:01:01Z"}],"liveness":{"score":12,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":0.4,"p_active":0.666,"p_room":0.45,"age_days":57,"expected_fill_days":34,"reasons":["seen:57","win:tail"],"computed_at":"2026-10-02T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":62892,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/ivy-mobility-enterprise-architectdirector","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/ivy-mobility-enterprise-architectdirector.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-02T21:09:18Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"search","counted_by":"address","units_charged":0,"used_today":0,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":null,"resets_at":"2026-10-03T00:00:00Z"}}}
