Conducts all activities with an appreciation, respect, and promotion of diversity of people, styles, and views.\nA full- or part-time faculty member in the ASN program must meet all of the following criteria:\nMinimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse for full-time faculty or minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse for part-time faculty and,\nPossesses a current, unencumbered Indiana Registered Nurse license, and\nThe majority of faculty shall hold master’s degrees in nursing.\nFaculty with Bachelor’s degrees in nursing from a regionally accredited institution, must meet ALL of the following requirements:\nWithin one semester of initial appointment, must have a written academic plan of study for completion of a Master’s degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution, and\nProvides ongoing documentation (each semester) demonstrating matriculation towards completion of a Master’s degree in nursing, and\nContinued employment of a person who does not hold a Master’s degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution,shall be contingent upon documented progress towards their approved academic plan.\nOther Requirements:\n- Transcripts and/or relevant certifications/licenses required at time of hire\n- Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of a satisfactory background check\nIvy Tech is committed to supporting the well-being, growth, and financial security of our part-time employees.
