development, enhancement, and maintenance of software solutions used across corporate functions.\nThis is a hands-on technical role suited to someone with strong software engineering experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a modern development environment.\nYou'll work closely with developers, technical leads, product owners, business analysts, testers, infrastructure teams, and corporate stakeholders to build reliable, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Software Engineer, you'll contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and designing solutions through to development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.\nYou'll help improve existing applications, deliver new functionality, resolve technical issues, and ensure software solutions meet business, security, performance, and quality requirements.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nDesigning, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications used across corporate functions\nWriting clean, maintainable, and efficient code in line with agreed engineering standards\nTranslating business and technical requirements into practical software solutions\nDeveloping new features and enhancing existing applications\nInvestigating and resolving software defects, incidents, and technical issues\nParticipating in code reviews and promoting high standards of software quality\nCreating and maintaining automated tests to support reliable software delivery\nWorking with APIs, databases, integrations, and backend services as required\nSupporting application integration with internal and external systems\nCollaborating with product owners, business analysts, testers, and technical colleagues\nSupporting continuous integration and deployment processes\nContributing to technical design and architecture discussions\nImproving application performance, reliability, and agreed security, compliance, and data protection standards\nRequirements\nWe're looking for an experienced and technically strong Software Engineer who can work effectively across both development and problem-solving tasks within a collaborative engineering environment.\nYou'll ideally have:\nStrong professional experience in software engineering or application development\nExperience developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications\nStrong understanding of software engineering principles and development best practice\nExperience with object-oriented or modern application development languages\nExperience working with APIs, web services, and system integrations\nStrong knowledge of relational databases and SQL\nExperience with source control systems such as Git\nExperience with automated testing and quality assurance practices\nUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment processes\nExperience working within Agile or Scrum development environments\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills\nAbility to understand complex technical and business requirements\nExperience working with cloud-based platforms or services would be advantageous\nKnowledge of secure coding practices and application security\nExperience supporting business-critical production applications\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work independently and
